Made a banner for THE LAB sermon series on Sermon on the Mount. I used a mix of photography and drawing to create this.

Booklet for the Homeless

I have been asked to design a business-card sized leaflet to give to homeless people in Newport. It’ll have useful numbers and information such as where to eat on which day of the week. The booklet is being funded by the council.

Here’s a sneak preview of the draft:

The final thing will be printed on some thin card and hopefully matt laminated.

I designed some promotion material in postcard form for The Lab and for St Paul’s to advertise the cafe, the toddlers group, the wednesday night food evening, the sunday night service and then a general postcard for St Paul’s to use to send notes to people.

I’ve been designing a lot for Christmas recently.

For St Paul’s I’ve done all their flyers, posters etc.

I’ve also done some posters for the Winter Night Shelter and a logo for a day centre.

The other day i just needed to paint. I couldn’t write anything down and it was suggested to me by someone the previous day that i should do more painting. So I did. Just on paper and with no plans I just went for it and this is what appeared:

Paper Roses

It was my Nana’s 90th Birthday in October and I was asked to make name cards for the dinner table and decorations for the cake. I often make roses out of napkins so I tried to make them on a much smaller scale, using mulberry tissue paper. The colours matched the flower arrangements on the table.

Painting Commission Done!

I delivered my painting over to my client this week. She was very pleased, and turns out I read her husbands mind as I added some texture on to the canvas – which he had wanted to ask me to do but thought I was already started so they didn’t mention it. That was lucky! So very happy customers which is great.

The size is 72″ x 24″. If you would like something similar then please let me know and I’ll quote you!
